I saw her cookies featured at one of the homes on the Ridgewood Historic Homes Tour. I contacted her last minute to see if she could provide cookies for a holiday party. Kathryn personally delivered a beautiful tray of ginger cookies that tasted as good as they looked. She was so great to work with and Parties Unplugged has permanent place in my "rolodex"!

When I contacted Kathryn from Tokyo with a crazy idea for a 75th Birthday Party for my Dad, I had a big dream but little time or energy to devote to making it come together. I wanted to bring a slice of Tokyo's karaoke scene to New Jersey, and there was less than 3 weeks to make it happen. Not only that, I had no flexibility in timing the party... it had to be the day after a major holiday. Kathryn listened to my crazy idea... dress-up karaoke... and went to work. Within 48 hours I had a list of possible venues, a baker, catering options, and she'd found a company that could make the dress up and karaoke happen! Kathryn's regular and thorough communication set me at ease while I was 14 time zones away, and not only did she guide me through the planning of the day itself, but championed ensuring that the day's memories would last a lifetime! I'm so glad that she did because the party was AWESOME! My Dad, the guest of honor, told me it was the best party he'd been to since his own wedding! Talk about a compliment! And there was no way that would have happened without Kathryn. Thank you!!
